In case you hadn't already heard, our dear good friend Dr. John took home a Grammy this year for Best Contemporary Blues Album with his latest release "City That Care Forgot." He and the Lower 9-11 recorded the album at Dockside during a two week period in December of 07. The album was a pure joy to make for everyone involved. This win comes shortly after Irma Thomas's "After The Rain" which also snagged the Contemporary Blues Grammy for Dockside in 07.
